Season 1 Is Here

The Starforge MMO Battle Pass has officially launched, and with it comes 50 tiers of rewards covering everything from cosmetic ship skins and commander portraits to some of the most powerful gameplay-affecting items in Phase 12 โ€” including the Phantom Interceptor drone at Tier 50.

This guide covers every major reward tier, highlights the most valuable unlocks, and gives you the fastest legitimate strategies for climbing through the pass before the season ends.

Battle Pass Overview

The Season 1 Battle Pass runs for 90 days from launch and contains 50 tiers of rewards. Each tier requires 1,000 Battle Pass XP to unlock, meaning the full pass demands 50,000 XP. That sounds steep โ€” it is not, if you understand the XP system.

Rewards are split into two tracks:

Free Track โ€” Available to all players at no cost. Includes credits, resources, and a small selection of cosmetic items at key milestones (T10, T25, T40, T50 free track).

Premium Track โ€” Unlocked with the Season Pass. Contains the full cosmetic collection, the exclusive drone unlocks, and the Phantom Interceptor at T50.

Tier-by-Tier Highlights

Tiers 1โ€“10: The Foundation

The opening tiers are designed to be reachable within the first week of regular play. Highlights:

- T1 โ€” Commander Portrait: "The Vanguard" (Free & Premium)

- T3 โ€” 5,000 Credits + Metal Cache ร—3 (Free); Ship Decal Pack: "Starfire" (Premium)

- T5 โ€” Scout Ship Skin: Chrome Spectre (Premium) โ€” a clean all-chrome reskin with animated engine trail

- T8 โ€” 10,000 Credits + Crystal Cache ร—2 (Free & Premium)

- T10 โ€” EMP Pulse Drone Blueprint (Premium) โ€” your first Phase 12 drone unlock, usable immediately in any compatible Carrier bay

Tiers 11โ€“25: Mid-Pass Value

This range represents the best resource-to-investment ratio of the entire pass. The drops are dense with practical items:

- T12 โ€” Frigate Skin: Obsidian Knight (Premium) โ€” matte black hull with red accent lighting

- T15 โ€” Research Accelerator ร—2 โ€” each item cuts 12 hours from your current research queue. These are extraordinarily valuable for players rushing Capital Warfare Doctrine.

- T18 โ€” 2 ร— Lightning Striker Drone Blueprint (Premium)

- T20 โ€” Destroyer Skin: Void Runner (Free & Premium) โ€” one of the few free-track cosmetics worth noting

- T22 โ€” Commander Title: "Fleet Admiral" (Premium)

- T25 โ€” Siege Hammer Drone Blueprint ร—3 (Premium) + 25,000 Credits (Free & Premium)

Tier 25 is the first major milestone. If you are short on time, this is the minimum target for a Premium Pass holder.

Tiers 26โ€“40: The Premium Core

- T28 โ€” Cruiser Skin: Solar Wraith (Premium) โ€” gold-and-amber energy effect skin for Solar Empire cruisers

- T30 โ€” 50,000 Credits + Antimatter Cache ร—5 (Free & Premium)

- T32 โ€” Commander Portrait: "The Phantom" (Premium) โ€” the canonical look of a Void Syndicate operative

- T35 โ€” Capital Ship Decal Set: "Starforge Insignia" (Premium) โ€” applies to Dreadnoughts and Capital hulls

- T38 โ€” Research Accelerator ร—3 + Module Fabrication Token ร—1 (Premium) โ€” Module Fabrication Tokens let you craft any Tier-4 module without resource cost

- T40 โ€” Battleship Skin: Iron Sovereign (Free & Premium) โ€” arguable the best-looking free skin in the pass, a deep navy hull with gold trim

Tiers 41โ€“50: The Endgame Sprint

The final ten tiers are where the pass justifies itself completely for dedicated players:

- T42 โ€” Carrier Skin: Ghost Armada (Premium) โ€” translucent hull effect that partially renders the Carrier invisible at long range (cosmetic only, no gameplay stealth)

- T44 โ€” 100,000 Credits + full resource cache (Free & Premium)

- T45 โ€” Module Fabrication Token ร—2 + Research Accelerator ร—5 (Premium)

- T48 โ€” Commander Portrait: "Dreadnought Commander" + Dreadnought Decal Set (Premium)

- T49 โ€” Exclusive Title: "Phantom Admiral" (Premium)

- T50 โ€” Phantom Interceptor Drone Blueprint ร—5 (Premium) โ€” the rarest and most powerful drone in Phase 12. Stealth-capable, strike-fighter speed, five blueprints to seed your Carrier bays immediately upon unlock.

How to Earn XP Fast

Daily Missions: Your Bread and Butter

Daily missions reset at 00:00 UTC and are the single most reliable XP source in the game. Complete all four daily missions and you earn 2,800 XP per day โ€” enough to clear nearly three tiers. Over 90 days, daily missions alone can deliver 252,000 XP, or more than five full passes worth of progress.

Prioritise these mission types for speed:

- Combat missions โ€” Destroy X pirate ships. Complete in one scouting run through Difficulty-3+ sectors.

- Trade missions โ€” List X items on the Galactic Market. Do this passively by posting your surplus resources.

- Research missions โ€” Complete any research. Queuing short-duration research (1-2 hours) satisfies these daily.

Weekly Challenges: The Booster

Weekly challenges award between 5,000 and 15,000 XP each. The four weekly challenge slots reset on Monday UTC. The highest-value weeklies involve:

- Participating in an Alliance War engagement (8,000 XP)

- Defeating a Sector Boss on Difficulty-5 or higher (12,000 XP)

- Completing a full trade route of five transactions in 24 hours (6,000 XP)

If your alliance runs a coordinated Boss Raid weekend, stack the Boss Raid weekly with the Combat weekly for a combined 20,000+ XP in a single session.

Alliance Activity Bonus

Being an active member of an alliance with 10 or more online members provides a +15% XP bonus on all Battle Pass XP sources. This is applied automatically โ€” simply being in an active alliance is free efficiency.

First-Win Daily Bonus

The first combat victory of each day awards a 500 XP First Win Bonus on top of the mission rewards. This never runs out. Win one fight every day, even a trivial pirate camp, and collect it.

Is the Premium Pass Worth It?

For casual players who log in a few times a week: the free track delivers solid resource rewards at T10, T25, T30, T40, and T50. It is genuinely useful even without the premium content.

For regular players hitting dailies consistently: the Premium Pass pays for itself with the Research Accelerators alone. The six total accelerators save between 72 and 90 hours of research time โ€” that translates directly to faster progression through Phase 12's new technology branches.

For competitive players: the Phantom Interceptor at T50 is not optional. It is the strongest drone in the game. The question is not whether the pass is worth buying โ€” it is how quickly you can reach Tier 50.

Start your dailies today. The season is 90 days long, and the galaxy waits for no one.
