A propulsion module that does not move the ship through space — it moves the ship through the moment just before the attack arrives, allowing it to be somewhere else by the time the weapons fire. The Temporal Drive V is the result of seventy years of theoretical work and thirty years of experiments that produced increasingly alarming data. The schematic was finally classified after three test vessels arrived before they departed. All three crews reported the experience as 'uncomfortable.'
