Starforge Citadel
Faction: terran federation
Overview
The Starforge Citadel is the largest warship ever constructed by human hands — an alliance flagship so vast that it functions as a mobile star-base, capable of housing the combined fleets of three major factions simultaneously within its docking bays. Its twelve command tiers each house a different faction's strategic coordination centre, unified by an inter-faction AI that reconciles contradictory orders into coherent battle plans in real time. The Citadel's weapons alone could reduce a fortified world to rubble; its true power is the unity it forges from fleets that would otherwise fight each other.

Lore
When the Starforge Citadel was commissioned, the three faction ambassadors argued for six months over whose flag would fly highest on its command spire. The engineering team quietly installed three identical spires at the same height, and the war it was built to fight was already half-won.
Tactics
- 1
The Citadel's true power is its docking bays — use them actively during battles to repair damaged allied ships mid-engagement rather than withdrawing them entirely, turning what would be losses into re-engagement cycles that grind down the enemy.
- 2
Position the Citadel at the rear of any alliance fleet and use its six Command Slots to maintain maximum fleet coordination buffs; the EMP Cascade Projectors can then suppress enemy command ships from range without compromising the Citadel's protected position.
- 3
In alliance-versus-alliance conflicts, target the enemy's command infrastructure first with the Ultra-Siege Railguns while the Citadel's own Orbital Denial Arrays prevent the enemy from doing the same — controlling the strategic initiative is more valuable than raw firepower.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths
- +Three Docking Bays allow mid-battle repairs of allied ships, effectively giving the alliance unlimited force sustainability as long as the Citadel survives.
- +Six each of Heavy Weapon, Armour, Shield, and Command Slots make it simultaneously the most durable, most offensively capable, and most command-effective ship in the game.
- +Hull of 15,000 and shields of 8,000 make it the most survivable vessel in the game by a wide margin — sinking it requires a dedicated assault by multiple dreadnoughts sustained over a long engagement.
Weaknesses
- −Speed of 8 is the slowest of any playable ship — the Citadel must be positioned before a battle begins, as any repositioning attempt during combat is effectively useless.
- −Construction requires 120,000 metal, 80,000 crystal, 12,000 antimatter, and 5,000 dark_matter — this is an alliance-wide economic project, not a single commander's purchase.
- −Its enormous sensor signature makes it the highest-priority target for every enemy commander in any engagement — expect every enemy capital weapon to be aimed at it simultaneously.
