Fighter Ships in Starforge MMO

Fighter-class ships are agile strike craft that trade hull and shielding for raw speed and burst damage. They excel at fast-attack runs, interception, and stealth strikes — darting into range, deleting a soft target, and breaking off before they can be focused down. In fleet doctrine, fighters act as a flexible skirmish line: they harass enemy support, chase down fleeing scouts, and screen heavier hulls from enemy interceptors. Glass cannons by design, fighters demand active piloting and good positioning. Field them in numbers, support them with tanks, and they shred anything that cannot keep pace.

Best Fighters — Top 3

Ranked by combined hull, shielding, and speed. The strongest fighter-class hulls currently in the fighter roster.

#1T3

Void Reaper

interceptor · void syndicate

The Void Reaper is the Syndicate's tier-three interceptor — a single-pilot hunter designed to destroy enemy fighters and scout craft before they can relay intelligence or establish fleet coordination. Equipped with a burst-phase engine that enables three-second sprint velocities that no target can outrun, and void-tipped munitions that punch through light fighter armour as if it were foil, the Reaper is the Syndicate's preferred answer to enemy reconnaissance. Its stealth shroud operates in a reduced mode during high-speed intercept runs, trading full invisibility for a sensor return small enough to be misidentified as debris until it is far too late.

#2T3

Void Specter

stealth fighter · void syndicate

The Void Specter is the Syndicate's most advanced single-pilot stealth platform — a fighter so thoroughly integrated with void-phase technology that it achieves near-perfect sensor invisibility at combat speeds. Unlike the Void Stalker's cloak, which operates on a timer, the Specter's phase-lattice hull passively suppresses its sensor signature at all times, requiring power only to briefly de-cloak and fire. It carries two shadow lances and a void-pulse torpedo that detonates inside a target's shields, bypassing hull-facing defences entirely.

#3T2

TFS Interceptor

air superiority · terran federation

The TFS Interceptor is the Federation's dedicated air-superiority fighter, designed to deny enemy scout craft and light fighters access to Federation-controlled space. Faster than the Wasp Scout and far better armed, it carries a dual kinetic burst cannon rated to engage targets up to three times its own mass, and its afterburner system allows it to run down virtually any evading target in open space. Federation carrier commanders deploy the Interceptor in rotating CAP — combat air patrol — patterns to maintain a bubble of air superiority around their capital ships against which enemy fighter operations become prohibitively costly.

Agile multi-role attack craft. The backbone of any early fleet.

Wasp Scout

scout · terran federation

T1
120HP
80Shield
95Speed

The Wasp Scout is the Terran Federation's primary reconnaissance platform — a lightweight, single-pilot craft built for speed above all else. It can dart across a sector in minutes, relay enemy positions, and vanish before a targeting lock is established. Its weapons suite is intentionally minimal: the Wasp is an observer, not a fighter.

Solar Blade

assault · solar empire

T2
200HP
260Shield
72Speed

The Solar Blade is the Solar Empire's answer to the question of how much firepower you can mount on a single-pilot frame before the pilot becomes irrelevant. Armed with twin plasma lances and a solar-boosted power core that rivals ships twice its size, the Solar Blade hits well above its weight class. It sacrifices cargo space and endurance for raw destructive potential in the opening minutes of any engagement.
